today we are in a multimedia era, in which printing production can be simply summarized into two things. 1. Convert what is called a printed manuscript, including images, graphics, words and symbols, into digital resources/assets; 2. Convert these digital resources/assets into the products we need through appropriate ways, including converting them into traditional paper-based prints through direct plate making and integrated production, converting them into personalized paper-based products printed on demand through the combination of different Richter value brushes measured by network and digital printing, and converting them into streaming media products through network and mobile media; It can be converted into electronic media products through network and electronic media. II. Digitalization of printing

digitalization here is aimed at the digitalization of production management system in traditional printing industry. The transformation of traditional printing digitalization is very remarkable. In the above-mentioned changes of the times, such as farewell to lead and fire, going through light and electricity, and entering zero and one, we have experienced the following technological innovations, including photographic plate making, production technology based on electronic division Phototypesetting (CEPs), technology based on desktop system and computer system through star controller Phototypesetting (CTF), which is now in its peak development period, and CTP technology we are welcoming. The development of each technology has to go through the induction period of its birth, the high-speed development period, the peak period, and finally withdraw from the historical stage. At present, we are in an era of cross development of CTF technology and CTP technology. The former is slowly declining, while the latter is booming. This can be better confirmed by the growth rate of CTP market share worldwide. The rapid development of CTP technology benefits from its many advantages over CTF technology. In the production process of CTF, a lot of equipment and consumables are used, which causes a lot of uncertainties. In CTP direct plate making, only plate making machine, direct plate and plate punching machine are needed. The simplification of the process and the reduction of variable factors make quality control easier. At the same time, the reduction of consumables also reduces the pollution to the environment. Therefore, it is inevitable for CTP technology to replace CTF technology

today's digitalization of printing technology is also a typical feature, that is, production has moved from a certain stage in a narrow sense to a whole, which we call computer integrated production technology. The development of this technology started from prepress. For example, electrical separation can only be carried out from color separation to color separation hanging at the same time, and image and text are processed separately to be processed together and output at the same time. Then it extends from prepress to printing, and then from printing to post printing, that is, the whole printing production is integrated into a whole. Printing and post printing can enjoy the prepress data for equipment setting and control. At present, this integrated production technology has been extended from the production level to the management level, and from the management level to the business level. In the future, our production mode is actually a huge, comprehensive and open information system using standardized data format. All kinds of information in this information system should realize seamless flow, be shared on all nodes, and be accurately executed. In the process of the development of computer integration technology, two very important organizations have been formed, namely CIP3 (PPF), which was formed in 1995. It is the integration of printing production; The other is CIP4 (JDF), which was formed in 2001. It puts more emphasis on process control and integrates the whole production and related contents, including sales and business. This technology requires our equipment to be highly automated and intelligent, and to adopt standard data formats in an open manner. Today's computer integration technology has production functions, monitoring functions and information functions

III. digital printing

digital printing mainly refers to digital printing technology. Even if the digital information in the computer is directly converted into printed products, the school has low enthusiasm for running a school, and there is no need to use printing plates. We call it digital printing or digital printing. The composition of digital printing requires four basic conditions: 1. Digital information; 2. Digital network; 3. Digital printing machine, 4. Binding equipment after printing on demand. Such a system has the following characteristics: 1. Full digital flow; 2. Integrate pre press, printing and post press into a whole; 3. Have the ability to produce and process on demand. The market positioning of digital printing technology is also different from traditional printing. In addition to giving full play to its efficiency in the short version and very short version markets, it has higher adaptability in the personalized on-demand market, that is, in the field of high added value

at present, there are two leading technologies in digital printing, one is electrostatic photography using toner, and the other is inkjet imaging. We can further understand the difference between the two technologies through several technical parameters. In terms of format, electrostatic photography is mainly limited to the format and below that the A3 oil volume is too small and the experimental machine cannot work normally. The inkjet format is very wide, ranging from a few centimeters to a few meters or even ten meters; In terms of printing speed, electrostatic photography can reach about 100 pages/minute. According to different uses of inkjet, wide and large format inkjet can reach 1000mz/hour, and A4 format can reach 2000 pages/minute; In terms of resolution, electrostatic photography is about 600-800dpi, and inkjet imaging can reach a maximum of 2400dpi; In the color rendering agent, toner (pigment) is used for electrostatic photography, and water-based, solvent and UV ink are used for inkjet imaging, thus expanding the range of substrate; In terms of comprehensive quality, both of them can reach the level of mid-range offset printing or even higher

digital printing has a wide range of applications, including variable data printing, data services, form printing, and direct mail; Small batches of personalized, online, on-demand publications and prints; Advertising printing, especially outdoor large-scale advertising; Trademark printing; Commercial printing; Packaging printing; Personalized card printing, anti-counterfeiting printing and food printing. Therefore, digital printing is not only confined to the printing field we know, but also deeply involved in all aspects of our printing
